    • Require indemnity for Celltrader or a third party,

2. Products and Stock Availability

  • 2.1. Celltrader offers electronic products, including cellphones, laptops, tablets, and accessories, subject to availability.
  • 2.2. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual items may differ slightly from the images.
  • 2.3. Stock levels are updated regularly but may change without notice. We will notify you and offer alternatives or a refund if an item becomes unavailable after ordering.
  • 2.4. Items in your shopping cart are not reserved, and prices and availability may vary.
  • 2.5. Limitation on Purchase Quantities: Celltrader reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased per customer or household to prevent misuse or resale.
  • 2.6. We offer both second-hand and new cellphones. Each product is accurately named on our website or in our product listings. If you require any further information pertaining to the product, you are required to contact the store. Once you have placed an order, you agree that you have satisfied yourself with the product description and any information that you require.
  • 2.7. All products are thoroughly tested prior to being shipped of.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • 3.1. By placing an order on our website or through any other sales channel, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s).
  • 3.2. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, including payment details and address.
  • 3.3. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Accepted payment methods include Payfast, Pay Flex, Mobicred, and other services listed on our website. Orders are processed after successful payment.
  • 3.4 Prices are subject to change without notice, but once you place an order, the price is locked in for that specific order.
  • 3.5. Any special order for products or devices not advertised on this site will require a 30% deposit to be paid prior to such orders being placed. The remaining 70% shall be due prior to shipping to you.
  • 3.6. An invoice can be provided upon request and will include the device make, device model and device IMEI number.
  • 3.7. All prices on our website include VAT at the applicable rate.
  • 3.8. Celltrader reserves the right to cancel orders and refund payments if a pricing error occurs.
  • 3.9. Additional verification for payment may be required for certain orders.

4. Order Confirmation and Acceptance

  • 4.1. Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a shipment confirmation email. Celltrader may cancel or modify orders due to availability issues, payment delays, or errors.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • 5.1. We will ship the ordered product(s) to the shipping address provided during the order process.
  • 5.2. We aim to deliver products within the estimated delivery timeframes provided at the time of purchase. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and we are not responsible for any such delays.
  • 5.3. Risk of loss or damage to the product(s) transfers to you upon delivery. Please inspect the product(s) upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within [insert timeframe].
  • 5.4. Device colour requests are subject to availability at the time of packing. We will attempt to contact you to provide an option for selection from available colours. In the event that we cannot get hold of you, we shall dispatch an available colour to avoid any delivery delay.

6. Warranty

  • 6.1. New local cellphones may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The terms and duration of the warranty are specified by the manufacturer and are included with the product. In the absence of a manufacturer’s warranty being applicable, which may sometimes be the case with new imported devices, all new devices carry a 6 month warranty from the date of purchase.
  • 6.2. Second-hand cellphones may be covered by a 6 month warranty by us.
  • 6.3. Any warranty claim requires an original proof of payment and invoice at the time of booking in.
  • 6.4. Our warranty only covers defects with the device and will not cover misuse, liquid damage, negligence, abuse or impact damage to the device.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • 7.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities conducted under your account.
  • 7.2. You agree to use the products purchased from us for lawful and legitimate purposes.

8. Liability

  • 8.1. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product(s). We are not responsible for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.

9. Governing Law

  • 9.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

10. Changes to Terms

  • 10.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version of these Terms will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Whole Agreement

  • 11.1. These terms and conditions constitutes the whole agreement between the parties as to the subject matter hereof and no agreements, representations or warranties between the parties regarding the subject matter hereof other than those set out herein are binding on the parties.

  • 12.1. If any clause or part of these terms and conditions are determined to be invalid by a court of law, then the remaining clauses or parts of these terms and conditions shall continue to apply.

Refund and Returns Policy

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The product must be in new, unused, and resellable condition. This means no signs of wear or damage, and it must be in its original packaging with all accessories and documents (e.g., charger, manuals, etc.).
  • Timeframe: Returns must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • Proof of Purchase: You’ll need to provide a receipt or order number to process the return.

Exceptions:

  • Opened products such as sealed accessories, headphones, or software that have been used or activated cannot be returned.
  • Damaged or defective products due to customer misuse are not eligible for returns.

2. Non-Returnable Items

3. How to Initiate a Return

  3. Ship the Product: Return the item using the return shipping method provided by us. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the product arrives safely.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, and your refund is approved, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we’ve received your returned item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method.

  • Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days after we receive your returned item.
  • Shipping Fees: Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a defective product or a shipping error on our part.

5. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will offer you the option of a replacement or a full refund depending on the situation.

  • Steps for Defective/Damaged Returns:

6. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you want to exchange an item, you will need to return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement item.

7. Sale Items

If the product you purchased was on sale or part of a promotion, it is eligible for a return under the same terms, provided it is within 7 days of the purchase date and in new condition.

8. Change of Mind

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for change of mind (e.g., if you simply no longer want the item). Please ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase before completing your order.
